Founded in 2013 by Barry Hadley and now led by his son, Rick, our independent firm brings five decades of experience to Northern Virginia and the Northern Shenandoah Valley. RICK HADLEY | PRINCIPAL & AOSE
Rick Hadley, principal of Hadley Environmental, has an Environmental Sciences degree from West Virginia University. Since taking over the family business in 2022, he’s leveraged his vast environmental knowledge. Rick is licensed by the Board of Waterworks and Wastewater Operators and Onsite Sewage System Professionals for his Conventional and Alternative Onsite Soil Evaluator License.
BARRY HADLEY | SOIL SCIENTIST
Since retiring in 2022, Barry Hadley has scaled back his involvement in the business, yet he continues to lend his expertise to larger projects, particularly in onsite evaluations. His career began in 1989, and during his tenure, he served in five counties for the Virginia Department of Health. Now enjoying a semi-retired lifestyle, Barry spends his time traveling, tending to his plants, and, more often than not, still contributing to the office.
DAVID ROTUNDO | OFFICE MANAGER
Since the inception of Hadley Environmental, David Rotundo has played a pivotal role in our team. As the Office Manager, he guarantees the smooth operation of our office and manages our scheduling. His proficiency in CAD is invaluable, offering critical support through the provision of detailed schematics and technical drawings. His organizational skills and ability to keep the team focused and efficient are indispensable to our success.
