Bealeton, Virginia Soil Evaluation, Construction Permit & Inspection
Recently, a bustling farm located in the heart of Fauquier County, Virginia, took a significant step towards expansion by engaging Hadley Environmental Services for a soil evaluation, commonly referred to as a perc test. This crucial process was undertaken in preparation for a new structure on the farm. Before the owners could proceed with construction, they had to secure a septic system permit as a prerequisite to applying for a building permit.
The evaluation was thorough, examining soil conditions, depth to bedrock, and landscape positioning. Fortunately, all aspects of the evaluation met the stringent requirements set by both Fauquier County and the State VDH regulations for installation. This green light allowed for the identification, permitting, and inspection of a conventional gravity-fed trench drainfield on the property.
This step is not just a procedural victory but a testament to the farm’s commitment to sustainability and adherence to environmental standards. It marks a significant milestone in the farm’s journey towards growth and development.
