Frederick County, Virginia Septic System Layout and Preliminary Design
Hey everyone!
Guess what? Our super skilled Alternative Onsite Soil Evaluator (AOSE) just wrapped up a cool project in Clearbrook, Virginia. They’ve been out there, doing the groundwork (literally), and have designed a brand new drainfield site.
This isn’t just any site. It’s in Frederick County, and it’s all set up for a 4 bedroom septic system that’s going to be shallow but totally efficient. The place? Picture this: a beautiful, convex sloping ridge. It’s like nature was showing off or something. But, it wasn’t all smooth sailing. We had to deal with shallow rock and a pesky high water table in the surrounding areas. No biggie for our team, though!
The cool part? The area we staked out is big enough to include a 100% reserve area. That’s like having a backup plan for your backup plan. And based on where the client wants to build their house, gravity is going to do all the hard work of moving sewage effluent to the alternative trench system. Nature working with us – love to see it!
Next steps? We’re taking all this info to the Frederick County Health Department in Winchester, Virginia. We’re after a certification letter that says, “Yep, you’re good to go!” Once the property owner is ready to kick off building, an engineered design for the septic will be completed and a construction permit.
Stay tuned for how it all goes down. Building and designing in harmony with nature isn’t just possible; it’s how we roll.
Catch you later!
