Conventional Septic System Design Located Near Limestone Ledges | Frederick County, VA
Recently, we completed the inspection of a new well and conventional septic system in Frederick County, near Winchester, Virginia. This setup was meticulously designed to support a five-bedroom house, a challenge given the tough task of situating a conventional system away from limestone ledges. Despite the difficulties, both the primary and the 100% reserve drainfield were successfully designed to meet all necessary vertical and horizontal setbacks, ensuring compliance with regulations regarding impervious stratum, ledges, and water supplies.
In line with the requirements set by the Virginia Department of Health, we will be compiling an Onsite Soil Evaluator (OSE) Report along with an As-Built Drawing. These documents are crucial for the issuance of an Operation’s Permit by the State. To give you a closer look, we’ve included pictures of the installed drainfield lines and surge/distribution boxes.
Navigating the complexities of septic system installation in areas with challenging geological features like limestone ledges requires expertise and precision. Our team’s ability to overcome these obstacles not only demonstrates our commitment to quality but also ensures that homeowners can enjoy peace of mind knowing their system is built to last and comply with all health and safety standards.
